3-Day Winter Great Migration Serengeti & Ngorongoro Trip

Overview

This 3-day safari gives you a chance to witness the great migration and sleep in very good accommodations. With Serengeti Smile, you will be immersed in the unspoiled nature of real Africa. You will see wild animals up close and take photos of the wonderful landscapes of Tanzania. All this with the assistance of a Tour Operator based in Arusha, full board on safari, personal English-speaking guide, and private use 4x4 Jeep (with mineral water, power sockets, binoculars).

Day 1:
Arusha to Serengeti Ndutu for the Great Migration

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and depart for the Serengeti Ndutu for wildlife sightings paying special attention to the great migration. Enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. In the afternoon, we will continue with the game drive activity before reaching the camp.

The great migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebra and other animals gathering together for calving season. Wildebeests give birth at this time. The best time to visit is from mid-December to early April every year.

Day 2:
Serengeti Ndutu for Great Migration and Then Transfer to Ngorongoro for Your Overnight on the Rim

Today wake up early and enjoy the great migration in Serengeti Ndutu then in the afternoon, depart to Ngorongoro for your overnight at the accommodation located on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. This gives you a chance to descend inside the Crater the next day in the early morning and see many animals when they are still more active.

The great migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebras and other animals gathering together for calving season. Wildebeests give birth at this time. The best time to visit is from mid-December to early April every year.

Day 3:
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town

After breakfast, then we'll descend inside Ngorongoro Crater for game drives. Once we finish the game drives, we will transfer you back to Arusha town where the safari ends.

This park constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the Natural Wonders of Africa.
